The following photos were taken on September 28, 2009 in the aftermath of Ondoy, it is called Ketsana internationally. I rode a cart while taking the photos, paid the driver 30 pesos for the one-way ride.
These were all taken in Sto. Tomas, Pasig City.

Taken just where i live in the second floor.

Looks like he enjoyed it, swimming on these dirty, very dirty murky waters.

It’s nice to be a kid again!

This one is cute too. Not the floating slipper.

Kids oblivious of the dirty water.

This is the driver of the cart i rode on.

This man wanted to be photographed with his lazy dog.

Still open for business.

The girls would make any hardship suffered by men easy to bear.

Playing horsey.

Still waving and smiling.

The girls again, yeehaa.

Undaunted by the storms in life. Positive traits mostly in Filipinos.

Passenger, the queen.

Almost to my destination.

Will come back to gather some passengers.

Scores of pedestrians walking in the skyway.

Boulevard turned “makeshift open market.”

Hi fellow Pasigueno. I hope your family is doing good after the storm. My mother-in-law lives in Brgy. San Miguel which is the next brgy. where you took the pictures. Their house was flooded up to waist deep. I have never imagined this will happen to Pasig city or anywhere in Metro Manila. I hope the water will subside quickly so we can go to our normal lives. By the way, I like this website. Please do post more information, pictures and food trip places in Pasig (once flood subsides). Thanks and God Bless! Stay safe always..
Hi Ken, Thanks! Yes i will post more photos, as in mooore. Thankfully, i live in a second floor rented room, i live alone though.
now we should know that God give us sign to love our nature.
“…God give us sign to love our nature?”
What the hell does that even mean? What does loving or not loving “our nature” have to do with Manila getting flooded? Are you 12?
my friends in Philippines were also victimized by the flooding caused by Typhoon Ondoy. i just hope that you guys could recover soon from this natural disaster. `
Ondoy is very devastating and leaves several hundred people homeless*~*
